Wario Farts on Pokémon

To make a complete guide on Wario farting on all the Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. Brawl...That was my dream!

On February 28, 2008 - shortly before the North American release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 4 color rebellion posted an article about a program to convert Brawl snapshots from the .bin format in which the Wii stores them on SD cards into ordinary .jpg images.

This was the first comment on that article:

(Actually, I'm not Kyattsuai, but I thought the idea was just too good (bad?) to pass up.)

Here's where you come in: I could try to fart on all the Pokémon in Brawl myself, but that would take a lot of time and it wouldn't be that interesting. Therefore, I'm inviting you to submit your own snapshots of your own Warios farting on your own Pokémon.

1. Choose a Pokémon See the list over on the left? The Pokémon with next to their names have already been photographed being farted on, so don't bother farting on those (unless you get a shot that's way better than the current one). Choose a Pokémon with a ; these are the ones that haven't been farted on yet. Look at that Pokémon's entry to see where you can find it in Brawl - many of them come out of Poké Ball items, but some of them are playable characters or part of a stage background. Alternatively, you could just fart on every Pokémon you see, then check whether each one is still needed here.
2. Fart on a Pokémon This shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Wario's fart (or "Wario Waft") can be performed with Down + B. The best farts are the ones that send him flying...this means that you need to charge it (by not using it) for a minute or two until it's powerful enough. Eating stuff will supposedly shorten the wait. It's definitely ready if Wario starts flashing brown. Get over a Pokémon and let it rip.
3. Take and Upload a Snapshot To host the snapshots, I'm using Brawl Snapshots, a site which was built by a couple of my friends. They have some pretty good instructions for taking and uploading snapshots, so I'll just point you there. It may take some creative camera angles to make some of the snapshots look good, especially of the background Pokémon; keep trying if it doesn't work. Once you've taken and uploaded a good fart snapshot, be sure to tag it with the tag "wario farts on pokemon".
4. Submit your Snapshot Finally, send a link to your snapshot on Brawl Snapshots to wariofarts@gmail.com so I can add it to Wario Farts on Pokémon.
